Reports are the main cause of spam restrictions. You only find out through the consequences: Telegram sends no notification.
How it looks
The account stops reaching strangers. Messages go out and never arrive; comments do not appear in groups. A status check shows a restriction. Sometimes days pass between the report and the effect.
First action
Take the account out of service. Continuing under a restriction converts a soft one into a hard one: the system sees behaviour unchanged after a warning.
The appeal
Filed through the official support bot: it asks whether you consider the restriction a mistake and requests a description. Some restrictions are lifted, especially early ones. Keep it short and factual — the account is personal, there was no bulk messaging, you believe the restriction is an error. Invented detail does not help.
What to change afterwards
- The text. If reports came for a particular phrasing, it should not stay in rotation.
- The audience. A niche where people report you may simply not be yours.
- The limits. Lower them and leave them low for at least a week.
If reports come repeatedly
The problem is the approach rather than the account: identical text, too direct an offer, the wrong venues. Replacing accounts without diagnosing means paying for the same mistake again. Costing it is in the ban-risk piece.
