The choice is usually framed as "where are there more people". That is the wrong question — there are enough people everywhere. The difference is how the platform hands out reach and what it takes in return.
The one structural difference
Telegram has no algorithmic feed. Only subscribers see a post, and no mechanism will show it to anyone else.
That produces a linked advantage and disadvantage:
- The upside. The audience is yours. Reach does not depend on an algorithm's mood, does not collapse after a policy change, and does not require chasing trends.
- The downside. There is no growth "by itself". Every subscriber arrives because you brought them.
On feed-driven platforms it is the reverse: one good video can bring thousands in a day, but the reach of the audience you already have does not belong to you.
Who Telegram suits
- Services sold through trust. Channel plus direct messages fits a long decision well.
- Text-first work. Analysis, breakdowns and instructions get read here.
- Anyone who needs the contact itself. A notification arrives; a post in a feed may not.
- Anyone with an audience elsewhere. Telegram is a good place to move it, because there it stays.
Who it does not
- No budget and no audience. With neither a feed nor ads, a channel does not grow at all. It will be manual work — see where traffic comes from.
- Visual products. Where the picture decides, image-first platforms win.
- Cheap mass-market goods. The acquisition arithmetic rarely closes.
On running everywhere
The temptation is understandable and the outcome predictable: everything ends up equally shallow. Each platform wants its own format, and copying a Telegram post into another feed works in neither place.
The arrangement that does work: one primary platform, the rest as entry points that lead people to it. Then the effort has a direction.
Choosing the primary one
- Where does your audience already spend time? Not where it suits you — where they are.
- Which format comes easily to you? If you dislike video, a video-first platform will outlast your enthusiasm.
- How much does owning the contact matter? If it is critical, Telegram and email beat any algorithmic platform.
How Neurogram does this
Everything above is manual work that runs into the number of hours in a day. Neurogram does it on your own accounts and without you: it collects channels and audiences, writes comments and replies with a language model, and keeps limits and quiet hours so the accounts survive.
