"Free" in Telegram growth does not mean "without cost". It means "without money" — you pay in hours instead. The distinction matters: advertising scales with budget, unpaid methods scale with how many hours a day you can give them.
Why good content is not growth

None of this matters if the channel does not hold them. Have something worth staying for before you drive anyone to it — growing a channel from zero and a content plan that survives.
The honest comparison
Price your hours at your own rate and compare with a paid post. Sometimes "free" turns out to be the expensive option — traffic vs paid ads.
