A story restriction is not an account ban. The account keeps working, keeps chatting and stays in its groups, but cannot post stories for a while. It is a separate mechanism with its own counter.
What it looks like
Publication fails with an explicit error about exceeding a limit. Sometimes instead the story publishes and no notifications go out — the soft version of the same thing, and harder to recognise.
What to do immediately
- Stop the account. Do not retry a minute later: repeated attempts on a restricted account extend the restriction.
- Do not move the pace to another account. If one hit the ceiling, a second on the same schedule will too — a matter of days.
- Come back at a lower volume. Returning to the previous frequency almost always produces a second restriction, and the second lasts longer.
Why warm-up helps here too
An account that started with one story a day and grew gradually hits the ceiling later and more gently than one that started with ten. Same logic as with messages: what looks suspicious is not the activity but its suddenness. Work out your pace in the warm-up calculator.
When it is no longer about stories
If messages and group joins stopped working too, this is a broader restriction — what to do about it.
How Neurogram does this
Everything above is manual work that runs into the number of hours in a day. Neurogram does it on your own accounts and without you: it collects channels and audiences, writes comments and replies with a language model, and keeps limits and quiet hours so the accounts survive. See pricing or look at your case.
