Sources disappear: channels close, go private, authors leave. To a cloner it all looks identical — no posts. One quiet day cannot be told apart from a holiday.
Telling them apart
- The channel went private — the working account stays if it was already a member, but no new joins are possible.
- The channel was deleted — nobody has access.
- The working account was removed — the channel is alive but not for you. Check from any other account.
- The account is restricted — then every source goes quiet at once. That is the first thing to check when everything stops.
Why you need spare sources
A channel resting on one source goes silent with it. Two or three sources are not about volume but about the schedule surviving the day something happens.
What to prepare in advance
A queue of your own posts. Even five ready texts cover a week while you find a replacement — autoposting.
And watch for silence. A channel that quietly publishes nothing for three days loses reach faster than one that publishes rarely but evenly.
Replacing a source
A new source means a new join by the working account. Do not add five at once — joining limits.
