Most bans happen in the first twenty-four hours. What makes a new account suspicious and what a normal arrival looks like.

Joining a chat without getting banned on day one

Most chat bans happen within a day of joining, and almost always for the same reason: the new account behaved unlike a new member.

What a moderator sees

At the moment of joining, very little: a name, a photo, whether there is a bio. After that, behaviour.

An empty profile plus a message in the first minutes is the exact pattern anti-spam bots are configured for. A filled profile removes half the suspicion before you type anything — what to put in a profile.

The first day

Write nothing. Read. This is not superstition: in many chats a new member physically cannot post for a while, and in the rest the first message from a fresh account is reviewed by a person.

The waiting is not wasted — it is when you learn how people talk here, what passes for normal, and what the pinned rules forbid. Reading those rules is worth more than any tactic.

The first message

The best one is an answer to somebody's question in an area you know. Not an introduction, not "hello everyone", not a description of yourself. An answer on the merits assigns you a role immediately: someone who knows something.

The worst is "is advertising allowed here?" The answer is no, and you are now marked.

Never

  • Join many chats in a row. Twenty joins in an hour is an automation signature — what is actually known about limits.
  • Message members privately right after joining. One report and the account is limited — why Telegram restricts accounts.
  • Bring two of your accounts into one chat. They are identified by behaviour, and both go.

Afterwards

How to behave once you are established: how to behave in a chat, and what the whole thing costs in hours: how much time chats take.

How Neurogram does this

Everything above is manual work that runs into the number of hours in a day. Neurogram does it on your own accounts and without you: it collects channels and audiences, writes comments and replies with a language model, and keeps limits and quiet hours so the accounts survive. See pricing or look at your case.
