Comment marketing on Telegram: how it brings people in

Why comments under other channels' posts are the cheapest traffic on Telegram, what decides whether anyone clicks, and where the manual approach breaks.

Comment marketing on Telegram: how it brings people in

A comment under someone else's post is the only place on Telegram where you reach a reader of a channel that is not yours, for free and within the rules. People come to read the post, open the discussion, and there you are.

The mechanics

Channels with discussions enabled attach a group underneath each post. Your comment is visible to everyone who opens it, and your name links to your profile.

What happens next is entirely down to the profile. They clicked, and they either found a clear line about who you are and where to go, or they found nothing. The comment earns the click, the profile converts it, the channel keeps them. Break any link and the rest is wasted.

What decides the response

Timing

A comment posted in the first minutes is seen by everyone who came to read. The same comment an hour later sits below the fold. This is the hardest constraint of the three.

Substance

What works is anything that adds to the post: a detail the author left out, a counter-example from your own practice, a disagreement with an argument, an answer to a question the author asked.

What does not work: "great post", emoji, restating the post in your own words, and anything that reads as an advert. The first earns nothing, the last earns a ban.

Fit

The comment has to read like a remark from somebody inside the topic. The moment it looks like a template dropped everywhere, the effect turns negative: people remember you, but not the way you wanted.

Why it does not scale by hand

The arithmetic is simple. Meaningful volume means being present in dozens of channels and reacting fast. Posts appear unevenly and at any hour. That means either Telegram open all day, or missed windows — and a missed window means the comment no longer works.

The second limit is fatigue. Writing twenty thoughtful, different comments in a day is possible. Doing it every day for months is not. Quality drops, and the source stops producing long before you decide to abandon it.

What automation solves, and what it does not

It solves exactly two things: being there when the post appears, and volume. The system sees a new post immediately and answers inside the window, across as many channels as you like.

It does not solve the harder half. Nobody else knows what counts as a sensible remark in your niche — deciding what to say, and how, stays with you, and that is what determines whether any of this produces results.

Worth remembering: accounts that write a lot wear out. Limits, pauses and warm-up are not caution, they are the condition for this source lasting longer than a month. See why accounts get restricted.

How Neurogram does this

Everything above is manual work that runs into the number of hours in a day. Neurogram does it on your own accounts and without you: it collects channels and audiences, writes comments and replies with a language model, and keeps limits and quiet hours so the accounts survive. See pricing or look at your case.
