A new subscriber sees the last few posts and nothing else. How to make six months of material findable in the first minute.

Channel navigation: pinned posts, hashtags and internal links

A new subscriber sees your last few posts and decides from those. Everything written before they arrived does not exist for them — unless they can find it.

The pinned post

The most underused element of a channel. Everyone opening it for the first time sees it, and it stays there. What belongs in it:

  • one line on what the channel is and who it is for;
  • three to five links to the best material;
  • how to reach you.

What does not belong is a long history of the company. The reader has not yet decided whether they care.

Hashtags

Telegram searches hashtags within a channel, which makes them real navigation under one condition: there must be few of them. Five to seven categories with obvious names. Twenty tags is not navigation, it is clutter at the end of every post.

A rule that keeps it honest: add a tag only once three posts use it. Otherwise people click into an empty result.

Every post has a permanent link. Referring from a new post to an older one is the cheapest way to extend the life of material and keep people inside the channel — the same mechanism as internal linking on a site, working for the same reason.

When a bot is justified

When the material is large and splits into obvious branches: a course, a catalogue, a body of answers. If the channel is six months old with fifty posts, a bot is an extra moving part — a pinned post and tags are enough.

A bot also does not replace a real conversation; that happens in direct messages and follows different rules — DM automation.

Why this matters

Someone who finds three useful things in their first minutes is far more likely to stay than someone who saw only the latest post — see why people unsubscribe and channel presentation.

How Neurogram does this

Everything above is manual work that runs into the number of hours in a day. Neurogram does it on your own accounts and without you: it collects channels and audiences, writes comments and replies with a language model, and keeps limits and quiet hours so the accounts survive. See pricing or look at your case.

Commenting or buying placements

Two ways to grow a Telegram channel compared on price, speed and audience quality — and why the honest metric is who is left a month later.

Your own channel as an asset

When it pays to send traffic to your own channel rather than straight to a sale: subscriber cost, what a channel earns and why it takes months.

Running a network of content channels

The economics of several content channels filled automatically: real time cost, how they earn and where the model stops paying.
